In my opinion, by far my best "marketable" work. Definitely, my personal favorite.
It's a tale about two young lovers who are betrothed to wed in 5,000 BC and are parted due to forces of fate. Then begins the chase through many lives and histories. In the end - 7,000 years later - the lovers are separated by one very dear to both.
I submitted LOVE CHASE for publication in in 1984. It was rejected sighting lack of caring for the exploits of the characters. I again submitted the novel in 2005. It was due to be published in the autumn of '05, however, I pulled it back. An editor had dropped a remark identical to his father's generation before him - lack of caring for the exploits of the characters. So I began a rewrite.
Both works are posted here. Both works are copy protected. Neither are edited or taken that higher dress-up step to publication. Obviously it will be the second posting which will make the book shelves once completed.
The first is, of course, the original work. Laid out here chapter by chapter. The second is the rewrite and is posted just as it appears on my desktop. It is the very copy I am developing.
