Comforter
is a Christmass 2003 gift from Mom Blom.
The master bedroom was yellow when we arrived. An intense yellow, to
boot. And although we had began outdoor projects, we had to
change the bedroom asap. It is still not complete but is a
comfortable room. Except
for a TV on a wall stand attached about a third of the way from the
south-west corner of the room, the room was empty. Yvonne had
laid a brown, tight knit rug which is not in bad shape and the
previous home owner placed in beautiful wooden window blinds.

Before we even "moved in," we shopped the Mattress
Warehouse to purchase our very first King-sized bed. We couldn't
decide on a style, so the head board is yet to come. The end
tables are from Cathy's apartment and are actually living room
cabinets. They fit so well, they'll stay in here. The lamp is from my
NY office. |
We painted the master bedroom walls in Mint Julip. A vanity and
half-bath are built into the bedroom. We painted the vanity walls a
very soft biege. We bordered that area with a loose flowing
rose design and bordered the bedroom with a beach scene that reminded
us of Montauk Point. A necessary dresser was added along with
lamps. We will alter the dresser and move the TV into the corner.
